Playground/Resource Teacher

Are you a team player that loves working with young children and creating fun experiences for children outdoors? Covenant Presbyterian Preschool and Child's Day Out is actively searching for an experienced teacher to join our 50-year-old program for the 2023-2024 school year. The staff member we hire must have a desire for excellence and be qualified and interested in working with both Toddlers and Preschoolers and all staff members. Our part-time schedule (8:30am-1:30pm four or five days a week) allows for a great amount of flexibility in a wonderfully supportive environment. Training hours are compensated. Our parents, families and staff are amazing! We follow the AISD school calendar and run until end of May. Requirements for Preschool positions include: -Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education or Elementary Education with Teaching Certificate preferred -Three or more years of experience teaching young children in a group setting -Understanding and commitment to developmentally appropriate practice and play-based learning -Passion for teaching and desire to be a lifelong learner -Creative and enthusiastic team player
