Assistants Needed for Philly Media & Publishing Company

We are in need of a few ABSOLUTE HUSTLERS. Energetic, Action-Oriented, Media-Savvy, Rock n’ Roll Gangsters who are ready to get after it. People who want to important and exciting things with their lives - especially in media, publishing, music, and sports. And yes, make good money doing so. We're putting on some of the best live music concerts at some of the coolest venues in early 202. We're also shooting and editing a docuseries on the local MMA scene w/ a focus on a UFC fighter; we’re gearing up to submit a series of TV specials for PhillyCAM and other networks, doing 1 on 1 interviews with local legends, and putting out the coolest magazine since Rolling Stone was actually cool. That is The City Root. And we expect to be with a larger media organization, with a larger audience, and larger salaries in early 2024. Currently available: 2-3 FULL-TIME ASSISTANTS (paid - in-person 3-4 days per week) 1-2 PART-TIME ASSISTANTS (unpaid - in-person 2x per month) In 2-3 months, we expect these to be a competitively well-paid corporate positions with solid benefits. For right now, it's based on commission and revenue from advertising sales. We’re currently pitching negotiable $5k packages to brands in a package deal. I am happy to explain in detail how a month of hard work will pay off quickly for those who commit to joining our team. I have no intention of wasting anyone's time and do not want anyone wasting mine. A big part of our initiative is working with the community. Especially the local colleges and high schools and we're in the early stages of putting together a City Root Z team to put out their own content with an entirely new generation in the that would benefit greatly from developing these reading, writing, and entrepreneurial life skills, while engaging in a productive extracurricular activity and even earning a paycheck in time. And to be clear, this is not a book club. We're here to publish a great online magazine, create entertaining and important content, make money, and grow a significant audience in the process and develop a marketable and valuable brand. The four interns we're looking for: SOCIAL MEDIA STANDOUT ready to assist in every aspect of social media content publishing: CREATING content surrounding sports/music/culture events, utilizing graphic design templates EDITING social media posts and basic graphics PUBLISHING on various pages VIDEOGRAPHER ROCKSTAR - to support in every aspect of media publishing: SHOOTING live concerts, ufc fighters sparring at the gym, awesome interviews with great people, and much more. EDITING these shoots, interviews, events and generating clips (AI can help wonderfully with that) and PUBLISHING these clips on social media promptly SALES ASSISTANT - updating sponsorship advertising package templates, finding leads, selling advertising for The City Root; also searching for apartment complex tenant turnover painting leads (separate business) PUBLISHING ASSISTANT - You are a writer and editor at heart. You are, at minimum, aware of the happenings of the world and if you're not, you like to do some research on the matter. You’re ready and willing to read, edit, and write every day.
