Description:

If you’re looking for a 250L, this may well be the one. Sure, there are newer creampuffs hanging around, but if you want a bike that fulfills the promise of what the 250L should be—Honda reliability with great suspension, bigger tank, etc—this is it. Perfect for lightweight adventuring. Runs great, 100% reliable. It looks pretty good—there’s some residue on the front “number plate” from event tags, and a bit of discoloration on the sides. This was my weekend dual-sport camping bike. It only has 3,554 miles on it—ridiculous right? I tend to have a bunch of bikes and do big miles on bigger bikes. The list (at least what I can remember) - RaceTech suspension done by Superplush in San Francisco: Gold Valves and springs front and rear. Sprung for 220 pounds of rider+gear+junk. - Yoshimura full system with spark arrestor. - EJK. - K&N air filter + air box vented. - IMS tank—I get ~165 miles of mixed riding out of the tank with the current tune/pipe. - Warp 9 wheels with street tires (Avon Road Riders). I noticed a touch of friction in the bearings, so I bought new bearings but never got around to installing them. Bearings are included, but you gotta provide the labor. - The bike has Anakee Wilds on it right now. They have some life left in ‘em but I’m including the Pirelli Rallycrosses I’d planned to install. - Seat Concepts comfort seat. - Highway Dirt Bikes Ultimate hand guards with mirrors. - Shorai battery. - Extreme Dual-Sport signals. - Precision rear and side racks—works great with a Giant Loop bag setup (not included). - Pivot Pegz MK4 pegs (Recently installed, basically new). - Flatland Racing skid plate (also recently installed). - Miscellaneous stuff like red Zeta bits and bobs, Acerbis frame protectors, pull handle. - Maintenance stand - Lots of spares: new OEM brake lever, new air box cover, miscellaneous gaskets, oil filters, more Uni vents, new brake pads (front & rear), 40 and 44 tooth sprockets, alternate racks (Adventure Spec), and so on. - Just about all the original take-offs too: tank, pipe, pegs, toolbox, blah blah blah. Why am I selling? I love this bike! It works so well and never breaks. But… I bought a 701 to take over my dual-sport duties. How ‘bout $5,000 with everything listed above? The usual applies: first come, first served. Include your phone number so I know you’re serious. Thank you.
