2001 Bayliner 2455

Clean, Clean, Clean - One time owner and purchased the boat/trailer in 2002. This is the most versatile 24' boat you can buy. A good fishing boat and great weekend getaway boat for the family. It has full canvas that completely encloses the helm and bridge Includes windshield, (2) side panels and a back panel that allows you to stay dry. It has a V berth bed AND aft bed - sleeps 4 + the topside bench seat flattens down for another bed. It is great to be able to stay on the boat and the beds are comfortable. There is a heater that works great to heat up the v berth and bridge (when plastic is up). All bridge upholstery was replaced 6 years ago and is in excellent shape. The captain's chair swivels so you can keep an eye on the fishing poles! There are bridge area carpet mats (excellent shape) that snap in and out as needed. Set up for fishing with Scotty downrigger mounts. Will consider selling (2) Scotty electric downriggers (Excellent shape - always washed and stored inside after each fishing trip). I also have a Brutus pot puller unit (attaches directly to the Scotty mounting plate and has been used 3x) that I would consider selling also. This boat is a fishing machine. The outdrive was replaced about 4 years ago (after wrapping a crab pot line around the original) and in excellent shape (looks new) and is already drilled for mounting a Happy Troller trolling rig - which allows you to troll as low as 1 mph. The 5.0 litre 220HP motor is the 2nd motor - the original was replaced about 8 years ago (I don't know the hours as it doesn't have an hour counter - at least that I know of). The entire cooling system was replaced 2 years ago ($3,500 cost). The power steering pump is brand new, the batteries are 2 years old (should be good for another couple of years) all hoses and other parts are in great shape.. Basically, almost all major motor and cooling parts have been replaced in the last 8 years so they are still in great shape. The hot water heater (replaced about 5 years ago) and water system work great including an aft shower, kitchen sink and head sink. The head toilet works great and is great for the ladies and kids. The microwave works, refrigerator works, radio works, stove top (gas and electric) works. Basically, all essential systems work great. The trailer is a galvanized 2002 Escort trailer dual axle with bunks (boat won't slide off until you are ready) vs. rollers (that can be a pain in the rear when trying to launch). This past summer - all of the brakes, hubs, 1 of the axles, and bearings were replaced at Western Trailer in Seattle. You shouldn't have ANY issues with this trailer for years. The trailer itself is worth at least $5k! This is the cleanest and 20 year old boat you can find and is ready to go with no problems! Wife will love the toilet, water system, heater, stove and other niceties. You won't find another boat and trailer in this good of shape for the asking price.
