1962 BOSSUNS JOCK Hand-Painted Chalkware SUPERB! Made In England

58 YEARS OLD AND LOOKS AMAZING!! Bossuns was a series of chalkware made from the 1960s through the 1970s as a set for collectors and most ended up hung on the wall. I remember growing up, we had 3 of these in a row on a wall in the living room. Mostly heads, and animals, the most eerily realistic ones are the faces such as this one. The artists got every wrinkle and curve, and then the painting was awesome. Check the face on this guy! Hand painted so each is slightly different and totally unique. The colors and tones are as realistic as chalkware can be. These things look real! I have 7 or 8 of these to list and while some of the more common ones sell for $28 to $35 including shipping, others are closer to $40+. This JOCK from 1962 is one of the harder ones to find as I found none on Ebay. You can see the size as several photos I am holding it in my hand.
