Steel Detailer/Draftsman

We are a large misc. metals fabrication company seeking an additional experienced CAD steel detailer/draftsman. We've been in business for over 40 years fabricating metals stairs, railings, ladders, etc. for commercial construction projects. We offer health and dental insurance, retirement savings, paid holidays and vacation time. • Position: CAD detailer/draftsman • Work Hours/Days: Monday to Friday. 40 hours/week • Hourly rate: Top pay for well qualified candidates • Some weekday/weekend OT may be needed • Benefit package: 1---Health insurance 2---Paid time off 3---Retirement savings with company match JOB DESCRIPTION • Create submittal drawings based on architectural and structural contract drawings • Create individual piece fabrication drawings • Check drawings created by other detailers in the office for accuracy • Proficiency with AutoCAD required • Must be able to read architectural and structural contract drawings
