ONE OF A KIND -- 1930's Antique Hand Operated "Little Wonder" Plant Fertilizer Applicator. Rare (patent pending) antique in very good condition for the collector, or farm décor. All original parts. Similar to a corn planter this is a hand operated device to deposit fertilizer in the ground to the opposite sides of growing plants or seeds, such as potatoes, corn, etc. without injury to the plant or seeds. It was invented by Ruben S. Bergen, Scandanavia for the Plant Food Applicance Company in Waupaca, Wisconsin. Patent date August 30, 1932.
