Registered Dental Hygienist (Full-time/ Part-time)

Hello! We are looking for an exceptional RDH to join our private office located in South Sacramento/ Greenhaven Area. What sets us apart? We are a cozy dental office focused on patient care rather than production numbers, we work as a team to help one another, and we treat each other with respect. We are looking for an RDH to work 3-4 days a week 8:30am-5:30 pm, preferably beginning mid- January 2024. Our work environment includes: Modern office setting Relaxed atmosphere Job Responsibilities include: - Perform dental hygiene procedures, including cleaning, scaling, and polishing teeth - Conduct patient assessments, including taking vital signs and reviewing medical history - Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and provide personalized oral health care instructions - Administer local anesthesia as needed - Take digital dental x-rays for diagnostic purposes - Assist the dentist during recall exams, including charting and documenting treatment plans - Maintain strict infection control protocols to ensure a safe and clean environment for patients and staff - Adhere to HIPAA regulations to protect patient confidentiality - Co-Diagnosis a plus. - Utilize dental software systems such as Dentrix for scheduling appointments and managing patient records Skills: - Proficient in dental hygiene techniques and procedures - Strong knowledge of dental office operations and protocols - Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients and team members - Detail-oriented with the ability to accurately record medical documentation - Familiarity with dental anatomy and oral health conditions - Ability to work independently and as part of a team Please note that this job description is not exhaustive and additional duties may be assigned as needed.
