"History: SILENCED" is an original work by an Armenian artist from Los Angeles. Measures 24"x30", varnished and framed. Oil and mixed media on wood. Real pages from Armenian short stories written in 1955. The work depicts the portraits of well-known Armenian figures who changed the course of Armenian history. Due to the recent attacks and conflicts with the Armenian region of Artsakh, the artwork hows a sarcastic depiction of silencing these figures - as if erasing history - just as the current events happening right now. Sale form this artwork will partially fund the Armenian Food Bank and help those who have been displaced from their homes and left with no food or water since October of last year.
