Kyocera Yashica SAMURAI X4.0 35mm Half Frame Film Camera - AS-IS

Listed here is the Kyocera Samurai X4.0 35mm half frame camera. This camera is being sold in NOT WORKING CONDITION. It may be repairable, and I'm hoping someone who knows how to fix these things and has the desire to restore this camera to working condition will be interested. I am the original owner. I bought this camera in Tokyo, Japan brand new around 1993. I used it up until the early 2000's and it was working fine, but I got a new camera and this was put away in a drawer until recently. This camera shoots in half frames, so it can get double the number of exposures on the same roll of film. But it was somewhat of a hassle to develop the film because most places in the US don't print that way. I replaced the battery with a brand new one, but other than displaying a low battery indicator (as shown in photo) it does not operate. I can manually set the date, but that's about it. The shutter button doesn't do anything, the zoom buttons do not move the lens, and I can't get the motor to rewind the film. I'm not sure what's wrong with it at this point, so I'm just giving you the best description I can. The optics look very clean. Includes the original camera bag, camera strap, and front lens cap as shown. If you need any other information, I'm happy to provide it if I can, so just ask. Hate to see this go to waste, so hoping to find someone who knows more about these and wants to repair and restore it.
