Awesome Human as Caregiver for Spunky Women in Wheelchair (Live-in)

About Me: I’m 40 years old and while I am paralyzed from the chest down with limited arm function (from a shallow water diving accident), I never let that stop me. I am full of life, always on the go, have a full-time job and a full-time life. In addition to my full-time job, I spend a majority of my time working in the nonprofit world helping others who are less fortunate than I am. I am a huge believer in paying it forward, giving back, and kindness. Really! I love to help make people’s lives better. I may be paralyzed from the chest down, but I EXTREMELY Active. I am looking for someone who is full of life, super kind, patient, detail oriented, really organized, and can keep up with my full-time life. I am surrounded by a great team and my 77yr old mother is my rock star in life and she or other caregiver will help do all of the training. Family is everything to me in creating a team and is really important for me because having stability in my caregiving means I can spend my time helping others. I am a girl on the go as they say! NO EXPERIENCE Required. I can teach you everything, you just have to have a great attitude and are super clean 😊 Positivity is key in my life. SCHEDULE Details: • 1 week - 5 days/5 nights (Sunday night to Friday night) and then the 2nd week - 3 days/3 nights (Tuesday night to Friday night) ----alternating schedule every other week PAY: • It comes out to $37,450 per year. Caregiving Responsibilities include: • Transfer from bed to wheelchair, shower chair etc. (I am 150lbs and 5’9”) - don’t worry I’ll teach you :-) • Bathing & Bowel program - (Bathroom functions) • Catheter care • Dressing, make-up, hair • Meal preparation • Ability to drive my special purpose van with a valid driver's license • Assisting in exercise program • Willingness to travel with me around the country because I do a lot of public speaking Minimum requirements: Must be at least 27 years of age Must have a clean background Must have a valid Driver's License ABOUT the Condo: • I live in a beautiful quiet condo with older residents • Beautiful walking area around the community • 2500 square-foot condo. • Your room is fully furnished with medium-size fridge • 1 mile from Cameron Village, 2 miles from North Hills, 3 miles from Downtown Raleigh • I lived on the corner of Oberlin and Glenwood (Glenwood Village) • fitness center, pool • I have one very cute cat • Really looking for someone who is low-key, no drama, quiet, and a pleasant human being.
