Paint/Quarter Horse For Sale

Malcolm is a 14 year old retired racehorse, he has a lip tattoo and his registered name is James Spirit. When I first purchased him, I did a DNA test to find his pedigree and what breed he was, etc. He is a Paint/Quarter horse. This guy is very energetic.....probably the most energetic horse I've ever owned. He will run in the pasture non stop for quite awhile, he is great about exercising himself and keeps himself in pretty good shape. He has had regular chiropractor work, teeth work, and hoof maintenance since he has been with me. He is needle shy, so I've used dorm gel whenever I have needed to sedate him. He pops in his hocks when he walks, some arthritis present, but that has never seemed to slow him down. He is rideable, loves the trails and is very responsive and smooth. I have noticed he does need consistent handling and riding. He will try to test people and see what he can get away with; he's very smart. He does tend to be buddy sour. If you ride him near other horses, he tries to fight you to get back to them. If he is taken out somewhere by himself, he's perfect. It's strange but it is what it is. I will admit I have not worked with him as much as I would need to to get him to improve with that, so I'm giving him the benefit of the doubt. I am asking 4🥕🥕🥕 for him, and price is firm.
