Math & English Tutor for afterschool and weekends

Eye Level Learning, a world leading Math & English mastery learning program in the East Village of Manhattan is seeking a dynamic team player who can tutor children in Basic all the way up through Highschool Level Math, Math proficiency is a must for this position and being able to tutor basic English all the way up to the end of a high-school level is also important. As an Eye Level tutor you will be responsible to teaching/ tutoring Math concepts from basic math all the way up to Algebra to students in small groups where each child has been assigned individual materials according to their individualized level. Tutors will be able to communicate effectively with students and parents before, during and after each session to discuss each students progress and ways to improve results. Eye Level teachers will be able to test students individually to determine their level and assign the appropriate learning approach and materials in order to help them to progress over time. Eye Level, in addition to its Math & English program also provides test prep for the following tests: NYS Math & ELA 3rd through 8th Grade, TACHS Highschool Entrance exam, SHSAT Specialized high-school exam, Hunter High-School and ISEE upper school entrance exams. We are looking for teachers who can work afterschool from 3-7pm and on Saturdays from 9-2pm. Weekends are a must!
